Veiling in Women: Hijab

Commonly referred to by various different names like a veil or a headscarf, a hijab used majorly by Muslim women to cover their heads, has got it origins from an Arabic word [حجاب] meaning “cover”. There are various forms of hijab, commonly known by different names, classified on the basis of their size and purpose. Various Kind of Hijabs Hijab: Most commonly worn by different women of Muslim faith, a hijab is a long square scarf, which covers the head and neck securely, but leaves the area of the face clear.  There are many different color hues, prints, embroidery any other kind of work in which hijabs are available in the market online. Their easy availability and trendy designs make them desirable to women all  around, of different religions. Shayla: A long, rectangular scarf with a higher length to width ratio, usually draped slackly around the head and then securely tucked at the shoulders. This type of scarf, mimicking hijab and al-amira, covers the head and neck
